So we finally all had some free time to get together and hike today. Well, not really Erika had to work, so it was just Adair, Ashley, and I. (she's mad she couldn't go, and she should be) They had a few more spots on their "to do" list left. They picked out Waimea Falls. A short hike with what was said to be a great waterfall at the end. We had to drive (bummer) to the north shore; my favorite. Im new with the nature shots, but I really enjoyed shooting in the botanical gardens in the falls. The waterfall was exactly what I was in search of when I thought up this Hawaii idea. 

After, the hike we decided to stay up on the north shore for the sunset. The sunsets are the best from the north shore because some beaches face directly to the west. We decided to stop by Turtle Beach, where we all met some new friends, turtle friends...

When I first started this blog, I titled it "Roots", and very cleverly, I took a photo of a root. However, to get that photo I had to rip up my neighbor's (who I still hadn't met at the time) plant out of a pot on his front porch. I could have just waited for this photo. Big Tree. Neighbors plant was re-planted.
