I was inspired to move to Hawaii when I ran into a good friend from high school, Tony Kyle, one night while he was was visiting Kansas City. It was on the back patio at Kobi's and Tony was talking to a group of us, trying to persuade us all to move to Hawaii. The majority of the group laughed his suggestion off and thought he was crazy, but the idea stuck for me. And here I am.
We tore the doors and top off of Tony's Jeep and set out to the north shore of Oahu, accompanied by Erika and Matty, Tony's roommate. The north shore was much more quiet than the tourist-filled south shore. Very rustic. A place that my mama, or anyone from the LF would truly enjoy.

Jeep. Got caught in a rain storm and had to throw the top up.
We called up Adair and asked for a quick nearby hike to start off with. He suggested Manoa Falls. Very close to home with a great reward.
New crave : Apple Bananas.
Bamboo!
While in the parking lot, I told Erika that I just wanted to climb something. And then we came across this treasure.
Reward.
